dodecahedron Star Two

Try this star project with twelve points (one for each face of the dodecahedron) and twenty swirling cutouts (one for each vertex of the dodecahedron).

Step 2

Cut out the pattern by cutting on all black lines. A small sharp scissors and little patience could be useful for this step.

STEP 3

Fold all green lines as valley folds and all red lines as mountain folds.

Step 4

Glue Flap A to the other Flap A, Flap B to the other Flap B, Flap C to the other Flap C, Flap D to the other Flap D, Flap E to the other Flap E, Flap F to the other Flap F, Flap G tot the other Flap G, Flap H to the other Flap H, Flap I to the other Flap I, Flap J to the other Flap J, Flap K to the other Flap K, and Flap L to the other Flap L.

Step 5

Next glue Flap 2 to the other Flap 2, Flap 1 to the other Flap 1, Flap 10 to the other Flap 10, Flap 11 to the other Flap 11, and Flap 6 to the other Flap 6.

Step 6

Continue by gluing Flap 9 to the other Flap 9, Flap 5 to the other Flap 5, etc; for Flaps 8, 4, 7, 3, 12, 15, 14, and 16. Complete the Dodecahedron Star Two by gluing Flap 17 to the other Flap 17, Flap 18 to the other Flap 18, Flap 19 to the other Flap 19, and Flap 13 to the other Flap 13.
