STEP 3

Fold all green lines as valley folds and all red line as mountain folds. On each pattern piece, glue Flap A on one side of the gap to the Flap A on the other side of the gap.

Step 4

Attach two of the pattern pieces together by gluing any two like labeled glue flaps on the first piece to any two like labeled glue flaps on the second piece. For instance, the two Glue Flaps B on the first piece to the two Glue Flaps D on the second piece.

Step 5

Next attached the third pattern piece to the first two by gluing any two like labeled glue flaps on the third piece to any like labeled glue flaps on the first piece, and then the adjacent two glue flaps on the third piece to the two adjacent two glue flaps on the second piece.

Step 6

Continue in the same way to attach the 4th, 5th,and 6th pattern pieces so that a ring of five pattern pieces surrounds the first piece as shown in Photos 7 and 8.

Step 7

Next attach the 7th pattern piece to the rest by gluing any two like labeled glue flaps on the 7th piece to any like labeled glue flaps on one of the previously assembled pieces, and then the adjacent set of two glue flaps on the 7th piece to the adjacent two glue flaps on the next over pattern piece. See Photo 9.

Step 8

Continue around connecting the 8th, 9th, and 10th pattern pieces by gluing each newly added pattern piece to three of the pattern pieces in the already assembled project. As before, each set of like labeled glue flaps on the new piece should be attached to a set of like labeled glue flaps on the assembled project. Connect the 11th pattern piece by gluing like labeled glue flaps to four of the pattern pieces in the assembled project.

Step 9

Complete the Starred Dodecahedron by attaching the 12th pattern piece to close the remaining opening. Glue each set of like labeled glue flaps on the 12th piece to two like labeled labeled glue flaps on the assembled project.
