Decagon Star

Turn a dozen paper decagons into a star ! This star has has twelve see-thru 5-point stars and five see-thru 4-point stars.

Paper required: two sheets 8.5 x 11 inch (or A4)

Finished Project size: 3.5 inches (9 cm)

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Print the pattern onto the two matching paper sheets of your choice.

Read the pattern key included in the General Instructions.

 

Step 2

Cut out the twelve parts by cutting on the black lines.

STEP 3

On all twelve parts, fold all green lines as valley folds.  I added glitter paint to my parts after folding.  Next glue Flap A to the other Flap A on each of the twelve parts.

Step 4

Connect Parts 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 to Part 1 by gluing Flap B on each part to a Flap B on Part 1.

Step 5

Use the glue flaps labelled C to connect Parts 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 to each of its neighbors.

Step 6

Connect Parts 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11; to Parts 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 using the D glue flaps.

Step 7

Use the glue flaps labelled E to connect Parts 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 to each of its neighbors.

Step 8

Fill the remaining gap by gluing the five F flaps on Part 12 to the five F flaps on the project.
