INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Print the pattern onto the paper of your choice. Both sides of the paper will show in this project.

Read the pattern key included in the General Instructions.

 

Step 2

Cut out the six parts by cutting on the black lines.   Each part is a dancing couple !   Fold the short green lines on each part as valley folds.

STEP 3

Connect Part 1 and Part 2 by gluing Flaps D, G, and H on Part 1 to its counterpart Flap D, G, and H on Part 2.

Step 4

Connect Part 3 to the project by gluing Flaps C, J, K, and N on Part 3 to its counterpart Flap C, J, K, and N on the project.

Step 5

Connect Part 4 to the project by gluing Flaps O and B on Part 4 to its counterpart on the project.  Connect Part 5 to the project by gluing Flaps F, L, E, A, T, X, and W on Part 5 to its counterpart on the project.  Connect Part 6 to the project by gluing Flaps R, P, S, U, Q, M, Y and V on Part 6 to its counterpart on the project.

When finished, this set of Dancing Stars looks like the skeleton of an icosahedron with triangles that are wavy and various sizes.
