BilunaBirotunda Star
Who knew that a geometrical shape could have such a great name! Try this fourteen pointer with four pentagonal points, two rectangular points, and eight triangular points.

INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1
Print the pattern onto the two matching paper sheets of your choice. The back side of the paper will be partly visible in this project, so i painted it blue.
Read the pattern key included in the General Instructions.
Step 2
Cut our the four pattern pieces by cutting on all black lines.

STEP 3
On all four pattern pieces, fold the green lines as valley folds and the red lines as mountain folds.

Step 4
On Parts 1 and 3, glue Flap A to the other Flap A, Flap B to the other Flap B, and Flap C to the other Flap C. On Parts 2 and 4, glue Flap D to the other Flap D, Flap E to the other Flap E, Flap F to the other Flap F, and Flap G to the other Flap G.

Step 5
Attach Part 1 to Part 2. Do this by gluing Flap L on Part 1 to Flap L on Part 2, Flap K on Part 1 to Flap K on Part 2, and Flap J on Part 1 to Flap J on Part 2.

Step 6
Attach Part 3 to the project. Do this by gluing Flaps P, Q, and R on Part 3 to Flaps P, Q, and R on the assembled project.

Step 7
Complete the Bilunabirotunda Star by attaching Part 4 to the project. Do this by gluing Flaps W, M, N, H, U, X, S, T, O and V on Part 4 to the similarly labelled flaps on the assembled project.

The base for this star is a stretched version of the bilunabirotunda, Johnson Solid #91. The squares are stretched into rectangles for this project.
